Early Christmas Present

Wonderful Christmas present: the stomach flu! Right now Andrew is on the mend. Camille and Anne had it earlier this week. Who knows when I will get it, but probably soon. Ugh. We were supposed to leave for RI today but that is now pushed back to tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Drew

Today was Andrew’s first birthday. Hard to believe. We had a chocolate cake and ice cream for him, but he was just as happy eating his Cheerios. (Great! More for me, thought Daddy). Anne is no longer so easily fooled. Ahh, blissful ignorance of childhood innocence.

We invited over good friends of ours from church who have two little ones, the Hensley family. Lots of fun and many laughs. God has blessed us with many families with young children in our midst. Who would have thought in the academic bastion of Ithaca, NY? Certainly not I.

Greg will put up some more recent pictures of the family soon…we dare to hope…

Incredible

Go see “The Incredibles”. It is worth the price of admission. The themes of family, identity, and heroism are well done.

Wilson the Younger

As of Reformation Day I am now officially an elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. This is a large responsiblity and a great honor for me to have the congregation New Life Presbyterian here in Ithaca elect me and Christian Anible. Did you know that the Greek word translated to elder is “Presbyter”?

Six Teeth

No it is not the name of a new band. Andrew has 4 top and 2 bottom teeth right now. And many more on the way!

Moving to new journaling system

Well, blogspot has been very nice for posting my updates. Having a plugin for gaim was really handy as well. But I have decided that I want to have my data archived here instead of in some netherregion, especially for my ampitheater (which I do not update often now).
