How’s that for alliteration? Mrs. McEntee would be proud. Just came back from a whirwind week-end (Greg totalled almost 10 hours of interviews with four different companies).

Where in the world will the Wilsons wind up?
Sigh
2 hr sleep [11pm-1am], 101+F fever, chills, and way too many lines of code to finish by my presentation time. Of which, since people have been out of the country, I have no clue when I will present. Nor am I sure a system dump to the server will actually work. Nor am I sure that I can tunnel a VNC session past my office firewall so that NC State people can see the system.
Sigh…

Comments
I have decided to allow comments for a limited period of time, just to see if people will comment on the things we write. I suspect, Camille will get more comments than myself, but that is ok. If they get weird, I will move to moderated comments instead of open ones.
BOYCOTT AGrobacTERIUM (AGT)

AGrobacTERIUM (AGT) has flaunted international conventions restricting genetic modification of plants for years. Using well known methods of DNA insertion, AGT continues to pollute and devastate the genetic clarity of crops and plants around the world.
AGT’s three main types, TumefaCiens, RhizoGenes, and Vitis, often lead to tumor-like growths on plants. They alter the hormone balance in the affected plants.
As further proof of their shady underworld dealings, AGT is currently in a PR campaign. In an effort to confuse the public and continue their genetic pollution, AGT has divided up into four units: RueGeria, PseudoRhodoBacter, StaPPia, and RhizoBIum.
This flagrant disregard of international safety cannot continue. Boycott AGT and its new subsidiaries. Get the word out before their pollution has a chance to directly affect you. Contact your local and national representatives to stop AGT now before it is too late.
