Hot on the heels of the last anniversary, today happens to be my birthday. Though when most people find out they exclaim what a bummer it is to have 911 as a birthday. But I disagree.
Today in history happens to be the day that the Scots defeated the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297. Being partly scottish I think this is a good day to celebrate. On the other hand, being partly english, well…
Today does have its share of ill, like most days. An infamous car was introduced, cults slaughtering people in more than one way, the start of an 86 year drought for the Red Sox, and the birth of the legendary Ludacris.
Still today is much better than days like 8-6 and 8-9, 1945 or even 1-4-1975.
Though the worst part about being born today is that I have to share it with my twin brother. At least I am the older, more mature one.
