PSA: Cell Phone Safety Tip 1

Leather covers will protect your cell phone from a variety of damaging circumstances. They will do absolutely nothing if you happen to leave the phone on top of your car. Fail!
Fail!
It will do even less to protect your phone if you leave it on someone else’s car.

FAIL

edit: Someone else, left their phone on my roof. At approximately 50mph, my car’s gravitational field altered so as to repel said cell phone off the roof and into the highway traffic behind me.

God answers prayer

But not always with the answer we would like. I learned this morning that the competitor received the contract to be the coordinating center for TrialNet.

What this means for me: I have no idea at this point what my official termination date will be. I really do not have much to do as the majority of my work was new development, which has been halted. I will be kept on staff for a little while in case there are questions. Right now there are no other positions in my office that relate to my skillset, so I have begun the job search in earnest.

Camille and I are continually reminded of God’s faithfulness, in taking us to Ithaca, then down here to be with all of you. We are confident that His grace will continue to sustain us in this uncertain time.
